Sticking to a Glow-Up Routine during Quarantine – My Story
It’s known that internal peace goes hand in hand with external peace. That is why I have made several changes during this quarantine to keep my skin well cared for and not neglect my beauty routine.
Hair
Restoring your damaged hair with natural conditioning masks is easy to do. Make use of coconut oil, which helps moisturize it and make it grow stronger. This has worked for me since I can’t go to the salon to get rid of split ends.
Sleep is Key
There is no point in eating well and wearing homemade masks if we don’t sleep the right way. During sleep, our body produces collagen. Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night and try to go to bed and get up at the same time each day. Sleep has been restorative for me in every aspect.
Water
Drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty to drink water. During this quarantine, we spend many hours in front of the computer, and we don’t realize how many hours went by without drinking water. It helps your skin to stay hydrated and glowing.
Love Your Skin
Try a skincare routine especially for you. Wash your face before going to bed and as soon as you get up, use moisturizers, and use sunscreen every day.
These tips have helped me to take care of myself physically during this quarantine. Remember to meditate and practice mindfulness. Beauty is also a reflection of our inner peace.
